JobsPlus One-Stop Career Centers offer Career Success Workshops for individuals who are interested in gaining employment or are seeking career advancement. The workshop topics center on tips and techniques for standing out from the competition and the latest job search tactics.
Attendees will learn to how to:
Use Employ Florida Marketplace (statewide job database) to search for jobs and to research potential employers- Create or update resumes
- Answer questions related to employment gaps, less than perfect backgrounds, negative work history or being new to the workforce
- Dress for success
- Network to gain job leads and interviews
- Answer top job interview questions and how to handle difficult interviews
