Workforce Plan Available for Public Comment
The Workforce Development Board of Okaloosa and Walton Counties is developing a Modification to its Workforce Plan for 2009-2010 to include the receipt of funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to provide employment and training services for adults, dislocated workers, and eligible youth ages 14-24. The Modification to the Plan will address the additional services that will be offered as a result of the receipt of new funds. The Modification will also address assurances of priority services for Veterans, individuals receiving public assistance, and other low income individuals.
A Draft of the Modification is available for review and public comment. The Modification to the Plan will be submitted to Workforce Florida not later than September 15.
